Day 01 : Chennai - Kanchipuram
Morning pick-up from advised location/Airport in Chennai & drive to Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram). On arrival, check into the hotel. After freshening up, you can relax and enjoy the amenities of the hotel or explore the town at your own pace. After lunch, visit the famous Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna's Butterball, and the Mahishasuramardini Cave. These ancient structures and carvings are stunning examples of the Pallava dynasty's architectural and artistic prowess. You can also visit the Sculpture Museum and browse the many sculptures in stone and wood that are available for sale on East Raja Street. In the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Kanchipuram
Morning at leisure. After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the famous silk weaving and saree making factories in Kanchipuram, where you can see the process of creating the intricate designs and weaving the beautiful silk sarees that the city is famous for. You can also shop for some of the finest silk sarees at reasonable prices.
Afterwards, visit the Ekambareswarar Temple, one of the largest temples in Kanchipuram and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has a 59-meter high gopuram (tower) and is famous for its 1,000-pillar hall.
Next, visit the Devarajaswami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in the Dravidian style of architecture. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings and has a beautiful gopuram.
In the afternoon, visit the Varadharaja Perumal Temple, one of the most important Vishnu temples in South India. The temple has a 100-pillar mandapam and a beautiful gopuram. The temple is also famous for its annual Brahmotsavam festival in April.
In the evening, return back to the hotel for overnight stay in Kanchipuram.
Day 03: Kanchipuram - Chennai
Morning at leisure. After breakfast free time for relaxation. Afternoon drive back to Chennai. On arrival in Chennai transfer to advised location or Airport. End of the services"
