Day 01 : Chennai - Vellore
It's time to say goodbye to the beautiful city of Pondicherry and head back to Chennai. After checking out from your hotel, you will be transferred to Chennai for your onward journey.

The journey from Pondicherry to Chennai is approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the traffic. During the journey, you can sit back and relax, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the countryside as you make your way back to the city.

Once you arrive in Chennai, you can either proceed to the airport or your preferred location for your onward journey. If you have some time before your departure, you can explore the city and visit some of its popular attractions, such as the Marina Beach, Fort St. George, or the Kapaleeswarar Temple.

Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple:
This temple is a stunning masterpiece of architecture and craftsmanship. The entire temple is covered with 1.5 tons of gold foil, which was manually mounted on copper plates by skilled artisans. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, and it is believed that a visit to this temple can bring prosperity and good luck.

Vellore Fort:
This historic fort was built by the Vijayanagara Empire in the 16th century. The fort is a fine example of military architecture and houses several buildings, including a temple, a mosque, and a church. The Jalakandeswarar Temple inside the fort is particularly noteworthy for its intricate carvings and architecture.

Government Museum:
This museum is a treasure trove of artifacts from different periods of history. It has an impressive collection of sculptures, bronzes, wood carvings, weapons, and handicrafts. The museum also has a section dedicated to natural history, including exhibits on botany, geology, and zoology.

Rathnagiri Murugan Temple:
This ancient temple dedicated to Lord Murugan is located on top of a hill and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The temple is believed to have been built in the 14th century and is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Murugan.
